Sinners

  • by

I ride with sinners, that much is true

So if you judge them, you are judging me too,

I hear you praying, please make me like You.

I gave, I served, I do as You do.

I picked up my cross, so I can follow You.

I pray, I fast.

Please make me like You.

But the plank in your eye, sits well and true.

The things in your heart, I did not give to you,

you serve me well, that much is true,

but the voice in your head, is what fails you.

Your heart harbours darkness, impure thoughts invade you

You are led  to temptation, but I do not tempt you.

I see the intention, behind what you do, and when you call me by name,

I will say, I did not know you.
